Hi, has anyone visited Woodland Springs Touring Park? I love the look of the site but have a couple of questions needing answers if possible. The first is after 11pm how strict are they with the silent rule, does this mean no talking? me and my partner like a bbq and then sit outside the tent sometimes till late, will we be able to do this? The next is how strict are they with the rules? I want a relaxing holiday and don't want the stress of someone watching my every move. The next is can you park your car next to your tent? I may be worrying about nothing but we had a bad holiday last year so we need a very good one this year.
Thanks
Steve

Woodland Springs was our fav site last year.  Beautifully run adults only with extremely friendly owners.  We had no trouble with the silent rule - and had visitors who stayed well beyond that time but we did do our best to keep the noise down after 11pm.  All vehicles are parked next to your unit.  Best of all is the freshly baked bread in the morning!!

The surrounding area is so beautiful and very close to hand - unfortunately we went in June and found we couldnt walk the dogs off lead on the moor as there were lambs about - when we go to the West county this year plan to go in September.

This site is definately on our 'must go back to' list - enjoy!

Many thanks for you reply, found this very helpful. I must have seen a review from a very loud camper. I will book a two week holiday in the next couple of days for a nice relaxing time. Have you any advice on anywhere to go, places to visit? I am looking to pop the question to my partner on holidey so fingers crossed.

Big thanks

Steve

Steve

I guess it very much depends on what you enjoy doing - as to where to pop the questions (its also so long ago for us I've very nearly forgotton  )  If you like walking try St Michaels at Brent Tor which is beautiful and has spectacular views .......

Try going to http://www.discoverdartmoor.co.uk/

If you want to plan a special  something I know the Wardens would help you as they know the area very well and they are delighful people.

PS dont forget to surprise her with freshly cooked pain au Choclats for breakfast - Mmmmmmmm

Liz
