Well we set off as soon as we got pack from picking the mrs up from work, and we set of for Westgate Camp Site in weardale, just over the big hill from us but we where still in a race against time and it was 7 pm by the time we got there, but still managed to get the basics up.
Following morning was cool with a heavy dew.
but we made the most of it.
By mid morning the sun was starting to warm up nicly and we then went for a wander round the area to St Johns Chapel, a village a couple of miles away with many new arivals enjoying the sun as we went by.
After lunch we put up the sun shade and wind break and had a bbq, and a few cans as the night arrived.
We awoke early in the morning as an owl had decided to make the tree above us somewhere his yodeling spot , with a friend ansering him close by.
but it didnt seem to affect arron.
but then not much does, but a good time has been had by all, the only real down point was the proximity of the A689, and the use of this road as a race way for every biker in the north it seems,many passed during the day and the mrs couned 30 bikes in about 20 min on our way home.
