Hi all, Wondered what people thought about this for good value (or not). Have booked 43 nights for the season for my wife and I and our 2 children aged 5 and 3 in our caravan. All pitches include full awning and electric hook up (except Rowlestone Court and Pencnwyc Farm where we don't have hook up). Prices per night are listed below. Anyway have just worked out average pitch fee per night and it comes in at £15.19 per night. Am I a bargain hunter or not?

28 April-2 May Bushes Farm Caravan Park,Blandford (£11.50)

excellent .i would say thats pretty cheap at the prices some sites are asking.
we are going in 16days for 2 months consecutively and weve managed £9.15 a night for 61 nights on a fully seviced pitch at an haven site .passes included .this is our third year at similar prices.the offer is too good to turn down and above all its a nice campsite and not too far from home

I've just done an average based on what we've taken and booked to date and it comes in at £16.63 a night so £15.19 imo sounds reasonable
We always have EHU and try not to pay any more than £20 a night (no kids but 2 dogs).
We're paying £14 a night at Easter which incs EHU, awning and the dogs. Our main break in July is £18 a night - it's just the ferry that costs so much .
------------- 2024:
February: Broadstone Park, Coleford
March: Bucklegrove, Rodney Stoke
Easter: Llandrindod Wells, Powys
May: Carmarthenshire
July: Dorset Volksfest + Wilksworth
August: Gloucestershire Vintage & Country Extravaganza
August BH: TBC
September: Undecided
October: Bull Bay, Anglesey
That sounds pretty good for a caravan & ehu, I bet you've calculated your towing costs too! What am most impressed with is you being out there exploring the countryside with your young children, just what we loved doing when ours were that age. These days we do it with their involvement as they are 10 & 8 and only have happy recollections of all the campsites and places we have been to, and are keen to help choose where we go now!
