Hi, Just wondering are many of you going camping over easter? We have never gone this early but are tempted to go after the bank holiday if we can get in some where.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I am off to the Mendip Hills over the Easter weekend, just treated myself to a nice pair of walking boots to make the most of it, can't wait!

We're off tomorrow coming back just before. The last time we went over Easter we woke up on Easter Sunday to a couple of inches of snow, it was great !
I'm another one who doesn't go at Easter because it's expensive and busy. Anyway, being retired, I can go when I like.
However after Easter, we're going to visit our daughters in the midlands - both have moved home, so I'd better take my took kit in case any little jobs want doing. With luck their houses will be declared royal wedding free zones.

I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.
We have to make the most of bank holidays, mainly because we have school age children. We have chosen carefully for Easter though, staying on a CS site with few facilities so hopefully it will be quiet! We have also chosen somewhere we can get to easily using quieter roads, and if all else fails we are only an hour from home so if the weather turns really nasty we can pack up and call it a day.
I am quite surprised how many people are camping this Easter though - the sites seem to be busier than normal and its still early in the season. Wonder if this is a sign of things to come this year or if its just because of the way the dates fall.
