The area all along the Jurrasic Coast is awesome, it's a World Heritage Site!

Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are obviously worth exploring; there is a heritage centre at Lulworth Cove, along with interesting geological features & fossils. It's a lovely walk from there along the SW coast path to Durdle Door. Just east of Lulworth is the Fossil Forrest - although I haven't been it sounds fascinating. Loads of beaches in the area are known for their good fossil hunting.

Corfe Castle & the Swanage Steam Railway are also nearby and demand a visit.

It depends how far you want to travel and how much you want to see; slightly further afield are Weymouth, Portland & Chesil Beach. The Swannery at Abbotsbury is also interesting and The Hive Beach Cafe in Burton Bradstock (further West towrds Bridport) is amazing.

Enjoy your trip!

Looking down to Man o' War Bay & the Arch of Durdle Dor with Portland Bill in the distance is one of the best views on the South Coast or even in the U.K. .... enjoy!
