Many moons ago can remember seeing a photo of a lovely basic site next to a beach in wales. (it wasn't shell island!) anyone have any idea where it was please?
Any ideas also welcomed for other coastal sites in Wales. Living in Devon we have done toured Cornwall/Devon/Dorset to death and are looking for somewhere different.
We prefer basic, quiet sites, no entertainment. Must be dog friendly with somewhere to walk them.
Thankyou

Thankyou for your replies. The site is neither of the above two, but they still look fanstastic and will be added to my lists of "must visit". So thankyou!
From what I can remember from the picture the site was virtually on the beach...no road inbetween and not on a cliff top. Might have been a CL or similar as it looked quite basic.

Not that one either Mudmonster, but still looks a lovely site! Thankyou for trying.
The site in the photo I saw on here before was much smaller and the pitches were in spitting distance of the beach, I think you could drive on the beach???
We have just come back from north wales so this will be too far
Ty newdd farm Aberdaron Lynn Peninsula lots of walks, great sunsets and very near the beach whistling sands and yes walking on this sand it really does make a noise, saw some dolphins
site very nice area for walking dogs, we were in the NEHU which was better but showers were 20p for about 2.5 mins. they had a cafe on site which was useful
