hi

does anyone know of a campsite/bunkbarn that would accept a group of mixed sex teenagers wanting a few days away camping after finishing their A levels (approx 20, ages 17-22).  I know a lot of campsites are dubious about allowing them to stay due to noise and alcohol, but they are all sensible kids and its a shame they are finding it so hard to find anywhere.

they are wanting a couple of nights in june in the north/west yorkshire area.  can

anyone recommend anywhere please.

thanks

mum of two teenagers

What dates are you looking for? How many males/females? How many tents? Electric or not?

I would think Arosa at Seamer just outside Scarborough would be ideal.

we have just arrived back from this site,  would think it's ideal for teenagers/alcohol etc. The facilities are very basic

You may have more luck if you book them in with a couple of mature adults who are willing to be responsible for them and act as youth leaders. They will then be treated like anyother scout or outward bound group, although some sites do expect a bond to be paid against any damage that maybe caused and will then return the money when the party leave if their behaviour was as good as their word.

Failing that they may be able to camp via the youth hostels association, it mught be worth googling their website for anything suitable.
