The site right in the village, behind the petrol station, is a bit... odd. I don't know anything about the shower facilities, but I stop at that filling station frequently and the site is just a strange-looking place. Based on reviews, it suits some people perfectly. There's a little hot roll stand right there that does very good bacon, etc. rolls. And, since you're right in the village, you can walk to quite a few places to eat and the village shops,etc.

Ardgarten is good, but the tent pitches are a bit hit and miss. Great little coffee shop and fab shower block though.
