Hi everyone any ideas please:

need touring site with  also statics for hire but need disabled facilities in static,also dog friendly.

Areas :peak district/derbyshire/staffordshire/devon/cornwall.

the listings I have looked at give very little choice,dont need whistles and bells but equally dont want to be foisted off at the back  of a site just because one member of the family cannot walk.

Touring pitches, Disabled friendly static for hire & disabled facilities also in the toilet/shower block

my OH is disabled and we manage in our tent much better than we have in any statics/ motor homes and even b&bs...  my dad comes along to help with lifting.  the last site we  went to disabled shower wasnt so good but there was a gym and they said we could use shower in there for free.   the shower in the gym was fab.

Some of the Haven sites have disablility adapted static caravans with ramp access, wider doors and a larger shower, and as well as a camping field within the same site.

Im not so familiar with the southern sites but Primrose Valley in Yorkshire also has dropped curbs and wheel chair friendly access to shops and facilities throughout the site. the touring pitches are open to caravans and motorhomes only though on this site.
