Arrived at Craig tara at 12pm on Friday, to be meet with security Guard, who advised that we pulled over and wait to be booked in so far so good, when i received my pack, i was advised that as i had a motorhome i could pick the car park area (all gravel), which turs out to be the old butlins overflow carpark, but I was turn my motorhome around so i could have a patch of grass, that my awning would never have fitted on, if i did not like there, i could pick one of the other pitches which were all gravel, no scenery and 7 ft high gorge bushes next to main road, when driving into the touring area, I was meet by an abundance of other fellow caravaners with transit vans that do tree surgery etc, say no more. I then picked a pitch which looked newish, and then was advised that i could not park there that these pitches were already booked, but so was I, i was told to move closer to transit van area, but i advised that i would not feel safe leaving my motorhome or kids new bikes (fear of being stolen) and going to complex which was quite a bit from the touring area, and was advised sorry there is nothing else, I then asked if i could get a refund and was told to go to reception, which i did and eventually got my booking transferred to another haven site, as they were not unable to recredit my card until after the bank holiday even when i advised that I still had my kids to take on holiday. but it worked out okay in the end. In true fairness this is probably okay holiday park if you have a static in mind, but would not advise on tourers,
