Me and the OH were thinking that it would be great to get away over the weekends to a place not far from home where you can sit out with like minded people with an open fire, BBQ and live music, just chillin the night away with a bottle of wine and good conversation....

Does such a place exist in Lancashire????

I did think of posting in the meets section but there's not a lot of activity there!!!

Not quite what your looking for, and at Wakefield, but you may like to try Nostell Priory  when they have an event on.  Event list  Very pleasant experience, as the site is at the rear of the Priory,  Just trotted off to the house with the picnic basket and a rug.  Sat on the grass with wine in hand  enjoying the music.

Note to self,  the ham butties and a packet of crisps, just didn't  cut it, need  a salad box  next time
