Just had the out and about email through and there is a list of 70 Caravan Club sites that accept tents, when we had our tent a couple of years ago we didn't think that the Caravan Club allowed tents, now I know different, but you may already have known!

No! They've been listed on here for quite some time. If you browse the list you'll see all the ones which accept tents, all the ones listed with photos etc are also "Non members welcome"

I don't know about other CC sites, but the tent area at Cromer doesn't have hook ups for tents.

Be aware that although they accept tents in some cases they do so very reluctantly!

When we tried at one site they were specific about only accepting back packer tents, no family or large tents. Also, they don't have electric hook up in most cases.

I get the impression that on some sites in order to get the site location they have to allow tents. In order to do this they put them in a difficult area and make it hard to take advantage of
