Hi all, not too many recent reviews on this site and no previous threads so just wondering if anyone has stayed here previously any info advice, pros cons etc?  All looks very nice on the website!

Hi Fiona,

Not been to The Ranch, but I live not too far from the sister site, Fernwood, and it is kept immaculate, if it wasn't so close to home I would consider going.  The pictures of Fernwood are just how it is.  Hopefully the same applies to The Ranch.

Thanks for that Nana shirley I get the impression its very well looked after, toilet blocks sound good, play area and outdoor heated pool.  Seems peaceful and laid back with enough to keep the children happy - So I've booked a week, I reckon after Vauxhall Holiday Park it will be just what I need!

Dont think its so expensive for its location and facilities - plus they gave me 7 nights for the price of 6 so it works out £26 a night for the 4 of us all in during half term and over the bank hols.

It's a good but expensive site that is gradually turning to statics. I've been using it for about 7 years now and the number of pitches for tourers has almost halved.

Don't go there at bank holidays - facilities are over-stretched to say the least.
