Hi all ive been looking for a campsite to go with the wife and kids during the first 2 weeks in august for 1 week, I want something that has EHU, outdoor/indoor pools, shower and toilet blocks, onsite bar with nightly entertainment, near a beach with laundrette ect, needs to be a fairly good size pitch for our Vango Maritsa 700 tent ect, and then I found trevornick, brilliant I thought so today I phoned to enquire about a pitch for a week in august and they have limited availability which means you can have a week long stay but will have to move pitches, a big no and I carnt go any other time because of my job and the school holidays!

So can anyone recommend a similar campsite either the uk and france (within 2-3 hour drive from calais) that has all of the facilities, ive had a quick look on the site search on here and will continue to look but would like some options from people who have been to the sites! Thanks

not near a beach but north of Paris and within 2/3 hours of Calias is La Croix Du Vieux Pont see reviews HERE also has an availabilty calender which is showing space ( but this maybe cos the site hasn't updated it)

Thanks for the recomendations, searls looks really good, just over 2 hours from us so I think Im going to give that a weekend visit either june or july, mullion looks good too, my auntie recommended Hendra in Newquay and ive been looking at that too, still undecided at the min, I need to phone each place and ask about availability for august which might help make my mind up for me!
