After a site that doesnt cost the earth ,yorskshire or lincolnshire ,right next to the beach ,not bothered about facilities ( we have our own ) :) anyone want to whisper about any little gems ? ;) ( i wont tell anyone else ...honest )
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
If you are a member of the camping and caravanning club, there is a temporary holiday site at the Regatta Field, just South of Brid.. I am going tomorrow for a few days. £8.50 a night, drinking water, chem disp. point and bins. It will be our first time there, but have stayed at Fraisthorpe Beach Temp hol site which is right near beach, but further to walk into Brid.

There is a CC CL listed under North Walsham that is called Buttercup meadow right next to the sea and very pleasant

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
Would recommend Haven Golden Sands at Mablethorpe....very cheap outside of school holidays and plenty on and off site for everyone. We love it there. We stayed Friday to Monday in April for £35.00 and have booked for July 7 nights for £84.00.
------------- July 2010 - Golden Sands, Mablethorpe
August 2010 - Withernsea Sands
April 2011 - Golden Sands, Mablethorpe
July 2011 - Golden Sands, Mablethorpe AGAIN!!!
August 2011 - Somewhere in Norfolk maybe Cromer!!
Unfortunately I can't comment personally, however friends camp here on a regular basis, it is right on the 'cliff' edge which you can jump down onto the beach.
The temporary site at Bridlington has finished now. They are usually on in school holidays. There is another one in August I think, 1st till 21st. We had a lovely time, it really was convenient for the beach and town. Some pitches had a sea view, my pitch was 2nd row back and I had a glimpse of the sea from in front of my tent.
