Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Bridgnorth itself has quite a bit of historic interest including castle remains (with its own "leaning tower") and cliff railway, and Hampton Loade has an almost unique river-powered passenger ferry.

Stanmore Hall, just outside Bridgnorth is a great site, but it's a bit of a hike into the town. Fishing in the River Severn at Bridgnorth is possibly a good bet. You could take the car down into Bridgnorth. I don't think the parking is too bad in the town, but I can't really remember now. You might like a ride on the Severn Valley Steam Railway. You can get from low town to high town via a cliff railway. Plenty of pubs - we quite like the Halfway House, South of Bridgnorth. Half Way House also has a very small camp site attached, but is rather isolated.
Have you had a look at the unicorn campsite? We have stayed there a few years ago. It would be a long ish walk into Bridgenorth though, but not far at all in the car.
Also if its coarse fishing you are interested in there are plenty of commercial carp fisheries in this area. Boldings is a good one, very near to Bridgenorth town centre and also you have Poole Hall just outside Bridgenorth on the main Kidderminster road. Then a little further down from there is Shatterford Lakes, carp/catfish etc.
My dad and I always have a few days camping and fishing in this area each year, it is a lovely part of the country. Also, don't miss out on a hot pie/roast pork sandwich from Beamens the butchers!!
