We've been camping, caravaning and back to camping for the best part of 30 years. We had one problem back at the start and nothing until the last year or so. It seems to be the "in" thing to do, buy a tent go away for the weekend, get drunk and make everyone elses life a misery.
I've never been so close to packing the whole thing in.

it seems the bigger the site the more of a problem....only experienced this really bad at the Monkey Tree in Newquey ,,,all other times no problem.

Not really had any problems. We did have a pitch on a Lake Geneva site that was so tight, or rather, the people on the pitch adjoining us had a big tent and a caravan and awning on the one pitch and our guylines overlapped, but we didn't let it bother us and thought it's all part of the tale to tell when we got back to England!
We have found sites in France not to be completely silent after 11pm as some on this website seem to want, but we enjoy it. Life's too short to get upset by small things, but luckily we haven't had any big things to get upset by.
