Wanted a nice caravan site near Sherwood forest or clumber park, wanted this weekend. Must take dogs and kids.

Need to try our new awning out before our main holiday.

ANy recomendations

Will trawl through the sites on here as well.

We've just had a very enjoyable few days at Orchard Park near Tuxford - only 10 mins to Sherwood and Clumber.

It's a nice size - about 50 pitches, tents and caravans. We found it to be really friendly, great for the children and well maintained.

The Caravan Club have a site at Clumber Park, but there is also Sherwood Forest Camp site. We love it there.

We were at Orchard Park last week and like you say Jenny it is a lovely site. I see you are also from Lincolnshire.
