Hi All,I am a new member and I would like to first apologise if I am posting this request in the wrong place.Myself and some friends will be cycling the Trans Pennine Trail in July and I would be extremely grateful for any info on campsites along the trail. we will be starting in Southport and our first stop will be in the Warrington area. I am doing a lot of research myself but thought this would be a good place to get some positive feedback. Thanking all in anticipation.

My brother camped here for one night when he did the Transpennine trail last year: Crowden. Apart from that he used B&Bs or friend's houses though, so can't help any further...

thanks for the reply campanula, since posting my original question I have obtained the official TPT maps, and by using these in conjunction with this site I have managed to make an itenary. Coincidentally the site you mention is going to be our second night stop, again thanks for the reply, really looking forward to our trip and will post details when completed
