Hi we are a family with 2 children (6 and 3) let us know where your camping and why? We live in Devon so looking to travel 3 hours maximum so possibly Cornwall (again), Pembrokeshire or Hampshire. Thinking about taking Jess, the dog!
Hopefully we can meet up with some fellow campers for drink!

Hi Nicola were going to FForest fields its a great campsite, just north of the Brecon Beacons, not far from Llandidrod Wells and not too far from Hay on Why. Well we are going there because its a great site in a great location and great for kids.
We're in Devon also and get fed up with going to Cornwall. We're off to the New Forest on Friday.....never been there. It will probably be just as busy as Cornwall but as we have dogs we have chosen some sites right in the Forest so we have good walking. Also you have close proximity to the coast if you need the beach, and only a couple of hours away.

Thanks all. We have just returned from Brecon Beacons - not a good site we stayed at. Was so annoyed we didnt stay at Fforest Fields it looks lovely. We have been thinking about New Forest for a change as you say close proximity to lots of things. Thanks again all. Will look at St Mabyn, not even sure where that is!!! lol

St Mabyn is North of Bodmin, towards Wadebridge. See here. For reviews/details of the site see here and follow links to their own website.
