Hi campers, it's been a while since my family and I have had a night under the stars. the problem i am facing is this, my kids are after an action packed camping holiday. Is there anywhere that provides activities like rock climbing, orienteering, abseiling and the usual outdoor activity stuff......maybe I can pack them off with hubbie and i can relax on a nice sandy beach with a good book.....lol......we usually go to the South Hams in Devon, i love it but it's a little quite for teenagers......

* Caving, climbing, trekking, watersports, archery and orienteering (Sutherland Lodge Activity Centre, Pickering)

Stay somewhere central like Boroughbridge C&CC site to gain quick and easy access (within an hours drive) to all of the above!

will 2nd North Yorkshire, not long spent a week at Pickering it was brill, best holiday had for a long time loads to do, the kids had plenty to do. Dont forget the NYMR for a fantastic day out also kids loved it.

River Dart?  Don't know if it's any good and it has got mixed reviews but I think my kids would have enjoyed it if I had known about it years ago when they still wanted to come with us.
