Where are you and roughly where do you want to go, narrow it down a bit for us! The site we stayed at on Kintyre could be ideal but not if you're in Cornwall!

Im guessing the beach will have to allow dogs too, as quite a few dont in summer months.

If you don't mind going all the way to Hayle the beach at godrevy or Gwithian is lovely. The beach is miles long and no cliffs at each end. Have a look or ask for reviews on this area.

Hunstanton, a few sites available, and the north beach does allow dogs, some shallowish sandy cliffs, more like high dunes, but only in one small area, plenty of pubs in old Hunstanton Village in the north. the main campsite for the area is Searles, although i have never stayed there.

Sandringham is another nice site either CC Club or C&CC sites, both have access to beautiful forest walks and a pub or two within 2miles of the gates.

Just been to Seacroft CC site in Cromer, Norfolk. Can walk to the beach and then let your dog off to run free after a certain point. There are cliffs but didn't cause us any problem with our dog. There's a lovely walk along the beach from  Cromer to East Runton then back to the site.Pub about 10 min walk away in East Runton and small club on site.

Manor Farm at East Runton allows dogs, a lovely campsite, not on the beach but you do get a sea view (albeit in the distance), walking distance to the beach which allows dog, and I think there are two pubs in the village

Cornwall., there's a couple of campsites with a pub in walking distance, Perranporth, not far from Newquey.  Perranporth is very doggie friendly. they can go on the beach  Going back again this summer with our little pooch.  Weymouth is nice.  They can go on part of the beach and you can take dogs in quite few of the pubs to eat there.  Devon, you can take your dog in most of the pubs for a drink or a meal, but not many beaches.  Google where ever you fancy you will allways find somewhere for you an your dog,,,,,,

TREVARRIAN: nice site, decent, clean facilities, dog walk, friendly owners, reasonable rates with various discounts. Can be a little breezy but then its Cornwall and so its breezy in most places and you can pitch by the hedges for extra shelter.Hurts to let people know about this site as they will all want to go there now and I rather like my" secret " place.Pub 2mins down road.

Beach- Mawgan porth short walk(1/2 mile or so) down the road, dogs more than welcome.Goes on for miles, plenty of room to get away from families and let your dog run around without being in peoples way or being harrased by non dog owners.

Flames cafe/takeaway over road from beach, lovely food, nice friendly welcoming staff, dog friendly.

Merrymoor pub: also opposite beach, dog friendly, good food, welcoming staff.

All in all my 2 large dogs andI love this siteand the area.
