I have been once before and intend to go again in September (see my signature). It really depends on what will entertain your kids. They do have a games room with table tennis and a few other games including a pitch 'n' put, and they also hire out cycles but there isn't anything really interesting to do within walking distance. Plenty of walks and cycling to be had though if that is what you like.
Nearby is the Swanage Steam Railway. A return ticket to Swanage allows you to get on and off at various locations on route including Corfe Castle. The site is at a prime location for touring the area but not one I would normally choose on my own, as interesting places are a car ride away and, like your kids no doubt, I get bored quickly if there is nothing to keep me entertained
