Has anybody stayed at Hatfield Water Park near Doncaster recently, its always a little worring when a site hasn't been reviewed for a year. Is it still open to tents? Any idea of public transport details into Armthorpe from the site?

Haven't stayed there but people do still stay there regularly. You can use the lake for watersports or there are climbing activities too. You would need to catch a bus into Doncaster and out again into Armthorpe. No direct bus service. If you're fit you could walk from Kirk Sandall park stop through the woods into Armthorpe. Can't comment on the facilities but if they're the ones that you use if you're staying inside then they'll be fine.

We had a rally there this last easter the lake was completly out of bounds due to landslide, has it been fix now i dont know.Showers was useless cold  and washand basins no plugs,toilets near enough and the road noises terrible so thats it.would i go again i dont think so

we were at same meet wi bongo,s must  agree showers and bogs well, poor to say the least and got bite and stung ,weather was good thank goodness ,but to be fair some campers went back time and time again so its everybody to there own, eres us at said site
