Hi there,

We are hoping to camp from 15th July for a week down on the Lizard. We really like sea views and total quiet. No club houses and onsite entertainment and don't mind a bit of rough and ready. Fancied Treen Farm, but as we can't arrive 'til after lunch on the Friday, I really don't know if we would be in luck. That's why we've looked for the Lizard instead. I like the sound of Tenerife Farm. Does anyone know if they are still using the RAF base for training right next door and how level is the site? We are in a tent and the lovely lady on the phone has offered us a hook up at the top of the field on a "gentle slope" which rings little alarm bells as now I am imagining a bit of a hill! I'm told the spots without electric (which we would happily have) do not have a sea view at the bottom of the field. Any help?

If you want a sea view then Chy Carne is the place, look at their website.

Thanks you for your advice Penny92.

I looked at Chy Carne. It looks a bit more of a busy and noisy site than we were hoping for. I really fancy the one at Tenerife Farm, but just a bit worried how steep it might be. Can't have the glass of wine sliding off the table all the week! Have you been there?

Many thanks

Yes we stayed last year in our  tourer, we went whit week as we took the grandson with us, it was,nt packed, and there were  spaces.  You drive through the statics, and then this stunning view hits you.  The dates you wish to go the children will still be in school so it will be quieter. I,m sure you could pick your  pitch the owners are lovely. I did write a review.  If you did,nt want ehu, the far field is very quiet, and still has a sea view. Hope this helps.  Penny

Henry's in Lizard village - amazing place, my fave site ever. But may be full booked for July by now, worth a try.
