Can anyone help with a good family campsite in the new forest ?  Needs a playground and pref a swimming pool !

Sandy Balls is the first one that springs to mind and Shamba Holidays, which is on the edge of the New Forest. I don't know any others that have a pool.

I don't think any in the actual forest have pools. Lytton Lawn has free use at Shorefield down the road, Avon Tyrrell or Wilksworth Farm are a little further, the latter especially for kids

Sorry to hijack thread, but I notice you have stayed at The Shrubbery, I am looking at that place for a few nights, doesn't say if it has wifi or not, any ideas? (Tis for my teen daughter who will want to stay in touch with her b/friend)

Can't reallyhelp with the New Forest, but if you go a little further West into Dorset then Wareham Forest Touring Park wuold fit the bill IMHO.  Swimming Pool, spacious children's play area and grass for ball games away from vans/tents.  If you are in a tent then you can pitch within the forest area. Seems to tick all the boxes bar one - it's not the New Forest, but might be worth the compromise??
