Wow jandjstott, those pictures are stunning! If all goes well this year we are planning to take a trip to France next year so I will put those parks in my brochure! Thanks for all you advice you have been a great help.
We go there every other year and the kids love it, if the kids love it then so do we lol.
Trouble is is that it is too far away from home to go very often :(
We like the huge play area for adults and kids to use, it has great showers and toilets - when one is closed for cleaning the next one along is still open :) It has hooks for dog leads near the toilets, there is a lovely river running alongside it which is great for dog walking, it's close to the village facilities with pubs one of which has a play area for the kids. We just love being there :)

Got to be honest we love the Haven type sites cos we have 2 young daughters aged 3 and 6. I know it gets slated but Ty Mawr in Towyn is ideal for us cos its fairly cheap apart from schools holidays and is only 90 mins away.
Also love Bashley Park as well. Infact that probably is our favourite site cos of the great facilities and the setting. Just wish it was closer to us.
Flippin heck alfonso, you don't have to jump on me from that height. The sight I,m on about only takes 5 units, and it's only in your back yard.I was only stating a fact. we are retired and now when we go to the sight we go midweek as without booking in the summer months it's full at weekends.

Apologies, I was more than a little harsh, didn't mean to cause offense. But I do stand by my argument that these gems should be shared with other forum members. Especially when they are in my back yard!
Our favourite site is vale of pickering, but a very close second is humble bee farm near east coast filey. We always relax on these family friendly sites there shower facilities are always spot on and play area is great the kids love it. That's why we like them.

Looking forward to our next trip
