Hi - I dont think you will have any problems, especially on commercial sites (not so sure about club sites) - we have done this in the past for various family members, and have never had any issues, after all the site owner wants to make money - so as long as the occupants of the van adhere to the rules of the site there is nothing to worry about - I am sure the site owner would rather have revenue as opposed to an empty pitch
I was staying or Horsley CC & C site and my niece & nephew towed the caravan onto it for my sister to stay on site for a week. Pay your dues, either club member (cheaper) or no club member(expensive) They have to know who is there etc for fire or emergencies so as long as your up front in your paying why should there be a problem

hi we loaned my sister in law and family our caravan last summer i towed the caravan down and set up for them then collected it, it was booked in their name no problem
We have a booking next week Sunday to Tuesday, then the caravan is being used by their sister, Tues to Thursday. Not a problem, I suppose I have never thought about if they cause utter disruption how they would move the van......... never had a problem
------------- Visit Llandrindod Wells! Great scenery, walks, cycling, red kites. Ideal for exploring Mid Wales.
We have had people do just that - family members use the caravan, then possibly the owner and then take it away. I think as long as you explain whats required i cannt see many sites having a problem with it.

We have people do it here, if you are on either a Caravan Club site or a Camping and Caravanning Club site it is worth noting that the membership only covers the person and not the outfit. If someone else is staying in your caravan they would not be covered under your membership but as long as you are upfront about it as has previously been stated then there is usually no problem. If they are staying for more than 5 nights it may be worth them taking out their own membership, if not just bite the bullet and pay the non member charges.
Some sites prone to flooding may have a ruling about having a tow vehicle on site so that may be worth checking before you book somewhere. Hope they have a fantastic time and you convert them to buying their own caravan!!
Thanks for all the replies I think by your response
All will be fine for them to enjoy a taste of caravanning
Seems she thinks its for oldies lol
Cheers all
