We're planning on touring (motorhome) Cornwall in early September with a small dog. We are looking for sites that are within walking distance of local towns, Newquay, Padstowe, St Ives etc. Any assitance would be much appreciated,

Hi there!
What sort of sites do you prefer?

My top recomendations for quiet, basic sites would be:

Henry's - right in Lizard village (2 mins to good pubs, butchers, grocery store, cafe's and Ann's Pasties are the best in Cornwall).

Dennis Cove (10 minutes easy walk along the Camel Trail to the delights of Padstow).

Hi there,

strongly suggest that you visit this site, fill in your details and tick the box for dog owners guide to beaches etc.

http://www.visitcornwall.com/site/request-info

If you're thinking of taking the dog on the beach then many places have dog bans and may affect your plans.

Best wishes

Jake

Just back.
Two nights at Dennis Cove, great location for Padstow.
Two nights at Ayr Holiday Park, great location for St Ives.
Night at Trevedra Farm good for beach with the dog and a nice coastal walk to Sennen Cove.
Night at Henry's camp site at Lizard Point - hmmmm, bit mad but fine.
