Hi all - looking for a site in Wales near activities such as rock climbing, kayaking,mountain biking. Anything like this to keep a 14 year old lad occupied!

Pretty much most sites near Snowdonia, Pembroke, Brecon Beacons etc.  Are you talking about organised activities?

We are in between llangorse activity centre (rope climbing, abseiling, dingle scramble zip wires) Black mountain activities (gorge climbing and canoeing,  etc) Mid Wales off road (paintballing, jcb driving, rally karting) and clywedog resovoir (600 acre lake with sailing, canoes and kayaks),,,, you also have canoeing down the wye, and horse riding only 5 miles away, and phil price rally school only 15 mins away

Plas-y Brenin is supposed to be one of the best but I think you would probably pay a fair bit there.

Our kids are doing the dingle scramble next week, £25. I can also reccomend the horse riding stables, excellent, and we have had campers go to the rally school and really enjoy themselves.

Around Bala there are lots of campsites and activities have a look here

Then do a search for campsites on Google or ukcs as there are quite a few sites and also Caravan Club and Camping and Caravan Club sites.
