Evening was hoping for advice.. going to Hayle in Cornwall September for 10 days and have 3 days to spare was interested in any recommendations where to spend it. dont want to travel to far from the M5 and would prefer costal locations on the way back as have to travel to the Wirral . Anyone got any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Where are you staying in Hayle, as we are due to see our daughter in Lelant around the same time, and I am interested in any good quiet sites around there?
Was hoping to get out of Cornwall and Devon to remove a chunk of the journey home & was thinking about Weymouth or around there but dont want to add to far onto the route home. Last year we went to Damage Barton for three nights but it hardly reduced the milage to home at all dispite taking about 3 hours to get to was very disapointed.
Have a look at Minnows Caravan Park (they take tents too). There are 17 reviews on here with the only down side being some noise from the motorway which could be an advantage for you!
Glastonbury has a lovely campsite but it's a bit out of the way for you and miles from the motorway.

You could try Weston super Mere it lookes nice with a new Grand Pier all open
Not like New Brighton work still going on
It is about 160 miles to get home for you
Settled for Somerset in the end, three maybe four nights (booked three anyway) at Hurn Lane other than no great doggy walk on site the beach ain't far and only 210 miles to home. Cheers for the advice.
