Hi, I m a newcomer to this site, can anyone help, I am looking for a touring campsite in Paignton or Brixham which allows dogs, has some entertainment, good for kids with pool and close to Paignton or Brixham its self, I keep coming across campsites that don't allow dogs.

Thanks

Michelle

There is a caravan club site in Brixham - Hillhead.  Unusually for a caravan club site they have a bar and restaurant with entertainment and an outdoor heated swimming pool.  They also have an enclosure to let your dogs running around loose and fields to walk them.  There is also an excellent play area made like a fort.

Hillhead is fab.  Lovely outdoor pool, enclosed dog walk and larger recreation field that can also be used for exercising dogs.  Bar/restaurant is great - has undercovered outside eating area where dogs are allowed in the evenings and during peak times they have music/entertainment/bingo/quizzes.  Games room for the kids, playground.  2 spotless shower blocks and no charge for the dog!!  Don't think you'll go wrong with Hillhead IMO.

Ideally placed for day trips either in the Paignton, Torbay area or across the estuary into Dartmouth.

Bus stop right outside site.

Hi

Do you have to be a member of the CC to stay at this site?  I know some CC sites allow non members.

Thanks
