i am after the best of both worlds. can you recommend a fairly small site But with something for the kids like night time entertainment or a games room. i can't wait to see where some of you have been staying and i dont mind where in the uk.thanksx
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Try Smytham manor in Devon, its a lovely quiet site, plenty of space for kids to run around, a swimming pool open in summer, games room and a bar onsite, lovely walks or bike rides down or up the Tarka Trail, we went there at easter and loved it. J x
Hi, it depends what you are after but Flower of May near Filey has a nice family friendly atmosphere. Its not small in terms of size but we have never had problems with rowdy neighbours there and the kids love it.
There is a small pool, games room, amusement arcade etc so plenty to keep kids amused.
The Quiet Site, Ullswater in the Lakes. They have an site bar/ pub in an old barn; it's very characterful with real ales and a roaring fire etc. They have an area for games for the kids upstairs. It's pretty small, quiet and uncommercial so maybe what you are looking for? There is also a childrens playground which looked quite good.
