My wife and I are retiring soon and one of our plans for our retirement is to buy a caravan and spend six months during each of the next few years touring Europe. In the past we have stayed in mobile homes on sites in France, Italy, and Spain. None of these can compare to a tourer, of course, and before we commit ourselves we would like to experience life in a tourer for a week or two.
We plan on buying a smallish fixed bed tourer so would be looking to try something in that class.
Does anyone know of any sites where it is possible to rent an already-sited tourer that fits our specifications? I have found one site near Ipswich but I am not sure it's still there as googlemaps shows new build houses where bingmaps shows an empty field.
Any advice gratefully received.
