Hi Everyone.

Myself and DS (7) are off next week for 5 nights and Hubby joining us on the Fri after work.

Does anyone know where the best place is for us with our tent. apparentley you decide when you get there:-)

We have a toilet for overnight so don't need to be too near the loos. Would like to be near a play area.

We are booked into an electric pitch.

Thanks as always

Polly.

Our daughter's family a few years ago were lucky to be on an EHU pitch on the first terrace above the play park, this was a good spot to keep an eye on the Children. I also remember there being a very large piece of land next to it for a Games Area. There were several levels/heights of the terrace. The terrace had a road going through it dividing the terrace into at least two sections, if you do want to be near the play area ask for the terrace nearer the park other wise you could get the further away terrace. This spot was not too far from the pool/shop/ resturant either.

Along the first terrace of pitches there was huge drop down onto the play field, luckily our Daughter had brought a couple of wind breakers to make a sort of enclosure/garden/safe area to keep her toddler away from the edge.

We noticed that the Campsite during the kids summer holidays was really full as it was a popular site, but when we called in on the last week of the holidays it was almost empty and plenty of pitches to choose from.

We also camped there several years ago and had a pitch high up in the camping fields and the furthest over you could get, right next to the farmers fields, and got covered in midges from the crops.

If you are allowed to chose a pitch like we were able to make sure you arrive on site as early as allowed (if possible.)
