Looking for a site with decent size pitches or even camping in a forest etc which may have a play area for kids but which doesn't allow noise after 11pm . As many facilities as poss but no pub/entertainment but a good nights kip is a must . Would a cand cc site be better for quiet at night ?
Anything spring to mind in the Kent to Dorset region , cheers Paul

Yes, in general, the C&CC "curfew" does tend to be respected.
Depending on what camping unit/equipment you'll be using, have a look at Folkestone (no caravans) overlooking the Channel, Canterbury within walking distance of the city centre, Norman's Bay practically on the beach between Hastings and Eastbourne, Slindon (no toilets/showers) tucked away on a NT estate in West Sussex, and Moreton in Dorset with a rail service to Weymouth...
We have just got back from 12 nights at The Inside Park, Blandford Forum, in Dorset. It has a decent play area which is open from 9am to 9pm. Decent facilities - no pub etc, supermarket 1 1/2 miles away (need a car to get there)
about 1/2 hour from Poole. Site has access to its own woodland and there are pitches which are set within a wooded area

Hi Paul
We did tent camping - the inside park has got quite a few level pitches but if you look at their website and view the pitch layout page then pitches 10 to 15 ( around that area_ are reasonably flat - anything up near the playground is on a very steep slope. Hope this helps.
