Brokerswood Country Park has 2 play parks, a lake, woodland walks, and a small play area close to the camping area. You can't sit and watch the kids playing in the play area's from the tent's / vans, these are a short walk away from the camping area, one of the play parks can  be walked to, or go on the little train to it.

Its a great site, close to Longleat, has fab facilities.

possibly many of the sites here are a little smaller than you are used to so expect one play park on most but still safe and friendly for your children.  There not the most common there are still plenty of sites with swimming pools and other activities and then there are quite small sites with little touches like feeding farm animals, real fires etc.  What part of England are you looking at?

If crossing to Harwich, Norfolk may be a possible area for you to consider.

We are happy to go almost anywhere although Devon & Cornwall are considered too far by my parents who will be joining us for 5-7 days - going to look anyway :-)

I recently spoke to some Brits that love Dutch campsites, it seems they are quite different to most UK ones and I'm not so sure you'd like the all inclusive parks here.

With UK parks that I've seen I think often that less is more, choose an area and have a look through the reviews.

I've not been there myself but seen a few recommendations on here for Tanner Farm, I'm not keen as it's caravan biased but that would suit you. It's not all that far from Dover and is near Bewl water for the odd day out.
