Nice campsite - approximately 45 minutes from bury - ehu, allow dogs and pub within walking distance :)

How about Hollingworth Lake? Not stayed there myself but I've been close to it while walking my dogs round the lake and it should fit your requirements.

yes i was going to say hollingworth lake aswell, lovely walk round for the dog, 2 for £10 pub aswell and also the wine press pub which is alittle dearer but still lovely, couple of little cafes for brekkie, and a chippy!
