We went to Newlands i think one of the two you mentioned are a sister site to it.
We were not allowed on Parkdean as we have a van.
Nice site Newlands , very friendly staff,

I think the sites are busy and lots going on but whilst that bit of the coast is one of my favourites it is quieter and traditional seaside. You will struggle to find a nightlife, arcades, clubs etc off site.
That's why I like it.

Hi, We have just booked at Crabs bluntshay farm, which is a CCC certified site, reviews looked good, it is nice and quiet and perfect for my wife and I and our two yorkies, They love the beaches so hope I can take them on.
I hope it is as good as it sounds, will let you know when we return.
We went here last year. A typical CCC CS, it was lovely. I didn't post a review as there were plenty of positive ones. If you love the quieter sites you won't be disappointed. and we only paid £10pn for 4 of us in summer hols. Our fellow campers were friendly and our children had space to play. We went to a NT beach nr Bridport, and my hubby, who braved the cold sea, was very impressed with the clear water. Lyme Regis was a nice, unspoilt seaside town.

I have stayed at Newlands and also at Freshwater, both are very lovely sites and lots of places to visit. But no nightlife or arcades etc. just traditional seaside, and very good it is too.

Wow! a mixture of suggestions, thankyou. We have a tourer, they do allow them at parkdean west bay, and 2009, we stayed at sanford park, which was very good. Will have a look at the others you all suggested...tell me, what does C.C.C stand for? I am assumimg it is Caravan Club? Just want to be sure...certified sites relate to that too, yes?
CCC stands for caravan & camping club. CC stands for caravan club.
Certificated (not certified, that must be something quite different) sites are affiliated to the clubs and are usually basic sites. Up to 5 units only allowed.

We have just stayed at Graston Copse holiday park in Burton Bradstock very close to freshwater bay, it was bank hol weekend, tents at freshwater bay visible from the road and were very close together, looked very busy so if you like busy sites it would probably be perfect. Graston copse is inland about a mile away and you can pitch where you like, its a quiet, flat site with no shop/ bar but has a good dog walking run but dogs need to stay on leads. There are plenty of fields and walking country outside the park so dogs can run free there. The good thing about Graston copse is you can use the facilities of the two sister parks nearby one of which is highlands end they have swimming pools bars etc and apparently Highlands end does reasonable food but is a bit windy there as its on the coast. West Bay is a lovely place to visit, loads of crabbing going on there and a couple of nice pubs. We also visited a lovely pub called The White Horse in Litton Cheney which serves an amazing sunday lunch with all the trimmings. Lyme regis is great if you like to visit small independant shops and, if you fancy trying to find fossils, this is the place to do it! Bridport is the biggest town nearby with all the usual shops. Hope this helps!
