with the replies i cant belive the prices people are charging....i looked at edentree campsite at bradwell (know it well) bloomin ripp off!!! 15quid for a 2man tent a night, 17quid for my camper.
i have done some wild camping around matlock area, no way can i afford camp site charges..
why not 6quid for a tent, not 15!!!!!

How about Rivendale, its a great site and has a bar/restaurant too. Tou can go using camping cheques at £13.95 a night including electric hook up. Its a djacent to the Tissington Trail if you loike long walks or bike rides. J x
Bakewell (actually Youlgreave) will be a sea of mud after all this rain, once you have got past the double parked cars in the village and along the single track roads, no thanks!

I agree it is not very accessible especially for a caravan, we have a small motorhome/campervan and find it easier. Once you are there it is worth the effort, if you are worried about mud, they have hard standings now.
