sat i drove down to angelsey in the motorhome, as it was pouring with rain we decided to look for a cl for the night and pulled into the motormuseum about 4.30pm and enquired if it was possible for a pitch ( i am a member of the cc) they asked if i had prebooked when i said no they didn't want me, i noticed they had nobody staying on their cl, so they lost out for a nights pitch and entrance to see the museum thats good bussiness sense, we ened up wild camping for the night.
------------- keep on moving
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
snowy 747, what makes no sense, me turning up or them turning money away. they had nobody else staying on site. i have a motorhome so i can roam about and if tired then look for a site, i have booked sites in the past and regretted it, so it turned out ok in the end as i got a belting spot.
We stayed there and enjoyed it one Easter week, we were mainly on our own, it was bliss but the owners wife doesn't get caravanning of any sort and is very negetive about it all.
hacksaw bob yep that is the site, i visited the museum last year and asked about the cl, but i wasnt a memebr of the cc then so she wouldn't let me on, but not to worry there are plenty of others that will.
