All rather strange today sitting on the carpark above the north bay at Scarbrough,

The sea is really rough out on the horizon with peaks and troughs, but as calm as a mill pond in the bay, and the tides are struggling to come into full flood on the shoreline due to the westerly winds blowing the waters out to the west with a heavy surface spray traveling offshore, causing a lot of gusts of low heavy mist over the ocean..

I spend half my working life on calmac ferries so i've had the fortune/misfortune of being on some seriously rough crossings, thankfully, it doesn't bother me at all

Where abouts on mull are you, i work on the island weekly and its an amazing place

I stay in Tob, gil16e.

See Oban Craignure ferry still isn't running (not surprising as it's still windy) but Fishnish is so not entirely cut off.

I'm wondering how everyone got on?
