All being well in 2 weeks were off for a 3 night break at Ty Mawr in Towyn (Sun to Weds) for just 3 pound a night inc awning and EHU. I know Ty Mawr isnt everyones cup of tea but for me, the missus and our 2 young daughters its the ideal site. I know its out of season but we're amazed by the price. Can £3 a night be beaten?

By the way, if anyone has been to Ty Mawr in the last few weeks, how are the pitches holding up? Went back in June and they were great, but we havent had the best of summers and this time last year the pitches were swamp like.

We just booked Lakeland Haven for half term £20 for 4 nights. The kids will love it!!

Not sure how the pitches will be though as they are grass. Hopefully they wont be a swamp.

On the Park Resorts website for Ty Mawr. It was 18 pound for the 3 nights which we thought was a good price, but then 2 weeks ago they cut it to 3 pound a night apart from Fridays and Saturdays. Bargain and even better cos it will be fairly quiet so our 2 young daughters can enjoy all the facilities to themselves pretty much
