Sorry but being able to guess the site, the post title is misleading as the dog in question would never RUN (more likely to amble/plod) around the site!

Having visited this site for the past 8 years the dog being discussed does appear at certain times during the day but he has never come into our awning as we have dogs and if he is told to go away he will.

The post is giving the impression of a dog constantly wandering around but this is not the case, most of the time he is with the owners but sometimes the smell of sausages is just too much temptation .

Many regular visitors see the dog as part of the site

Loose dogs, barbeques+ flammable materials (tents caravans etc.) a recipe for disaster. On a lighter note send for Keith Lard he likes dogs!

Yes but Herald'..I don't think the thread would've drawn as must interest if it had've been titled...

" Docile dog, ambles around site, occasionally approaching awnings shocker!"

Lol! I also think there is a bit of a gap in the story we have between the OP complaining, justifiably, about a loose dog going into her awning and her being asked to leave the site.

According to the OP in another thread it wasn't her food that the dog went after but the food she had out for the cats. I just wonder why anybody would take cats to a dog friendly site!

Customers can do what they want (if the site allows)   plus dogs are meant to be under control on site which means her cats can be happy knowing they wont get bothered = happy holiday for owner & cats!
