Had a fantastic break at Kelling Heath,Norfolk. It was the Autumn Equinox Star camp they hold it here because of the amazingly dark skies. You can usually see the Milky way arching across the sky.(weather permitting)The site has a policy of not using extraneous lights normally and even cover the utility block windows with temporary blinds! We had permission to take our son out of school for a few days as it is educational. Here are a few pics.

Looks as if you had a good time. I know we don;t usually take pictures when it rains, but weather looked good too. Anyone away this w/e have done well.

We've been 5 times or so now .The wildlife has been amazing .Even saw an adder on a walk down to the village .Couldn't get my camera out in time -was rather more concerned where the snake was going to take my eyes off it!

When this got transferred from where I wrongly put it by the moderators caz1959,zeelees and jewelsm comments seem to have been lost in cyberspace Sorry ! but very encouraging comments Thanks.
I've never been here in high summer but looks a very popular site for families with children.
The club house is expensive to join for a simple swim but there is a leisure centre at sheringham.

we have been there , but we now go on to a coastal site ,,in the evening its nice to walk along the coast ,at kelling its a car drive .
Hi Could you tell me which site you use that is coastal please?
It could be Woodhill that is being mentioned. This site is owned by the same people as Kelling.Woodhill is at East Runton on a cliff-top site. There are walks along the top direct from the site. Not very far into Cromer.
