We have done the broads on a Boat for 13 years and we love it....sometimes twice a year !!...We have this year got ourselves a tent..yes there is a site at Reedham and there is one a CL I think at Ludham not sure on facilities etc but I wish I had taken more notice as we might want to find a site ourselves at some point....but I think having done it on the river going in the tent would be a dissapointment to us so we are venturing futher a field ... we actually stopped on a site in Norfolk when we had our caravan but it wasnt by the river..it was by a lake and def no fires allowed ...Ill try and remember what it was called .

HI  WE LIVE IN NORFOLK,WE LIKE LITTLE BARNEY SITE NEAR FAKENHAM AND SANDRINGHAM C/CLUB SITE THEY ARE THE BEST.THERE IS CLIPPSBY SITE ALSO WHICH IS GOOD. THERE ARE NOT ANY RIGHT ON THE BROADS,BUT THESE ARE ALL VERY CLOSE AND VERY GOOD

As mentioned by another reply we would also recommend the CC "Broadlands" site. It is 2-3 mins walk to the river where there is boat hire, a small shop and also a cafe. There is also several pubs nearby, one of which is only a 5 minute walk. The toilet block is first class but this isnt an adults only site (not really an issue but maybe avoid school holidays if you don't want to many children). You won't be able to have fires but its a lovely site and not far from Norwich, Wroxham, etc.
