We are going to Legoland early July 2012 with a tent and family of 4. I have read reviews of Hurley Riverside campsite which looks like it would a good base. We would be down about 2 weeks in and around London with an 8 and 4 year old. Any other suggestions of campsites would be much appreciated.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Hi there, we did Legoland from Chertsey CC site. Its a really nice site with a small play area and good showerblocks. Well placed for the Thames and a couple of nice pub restaurants. A short drive away is the town centre with restaurants, other shops and a Sainsburys. A lot of foreign campers/motorhomers stayed at the site as apparently it has great links to the capital.
Swiss Farm in Henley on Thames. We stayed there last summer and used it as a base for Legoland. Nice campsite with good facilities

We stayed at Hurley Riverside park in September and its a great site with good facilities -the only thing i didnt have was a play area for the kids but they are adding one this year as well as some kids clubs in the summer holidays
we willbe going back for a Legoland weekend at some point this year
We stayed at Swiss farm in Henley, it's the first time we'd camped and I was really impressed, it was clean, quiet and had good pool, play area etc. We went to Legoland and it was about half an hour away I think.
Hurley is great. Also Highclere farm is a favourite of ours and thats not too far. We also used to go to Lalham and thats quite close but it did used to be very clicky.
