We are thinking of booking this site as a large group with 4 small children aged 3 to 6. I am worried abiut the water on the site and the safety of the children.

Any comments would be really welcome.

Duckers

I have stayed on this site with small children a couple of times, it's a nice place, but the water danger is very real, there is a stream that runs thru site, and a couple of smallish lakes for fishing, we were ok as plenty of us to watch the little ones, and we spoke to them all about water safety.

There is one field thats away from any water if I recall, ask the site wardens to pitch you up that end, close by is sherwood pines country park with loads of cycle /walking tracks, loads of stuff there for the kids.

regards baz
