Hi, I've been having a look at the site details on here but I've not got enough of an idea of what I'm looking for to be honest lol.
I'm looking for a "holiday park" style site that would be good for us to take young children to but not hugely rowdy (ie well run and wardened) Must have a pool, playpark and some evening entertainment (bar and kiddie disco etc) as our kids are too young to go off exploring on their own but love having some activities. Oh and I would prefer EHU.
Location wise...near a beach would be fab and enough child friendly activites close by.
Area of the uk is somewhat less important (hence why I'm finding searching brings me too many results) It would be for our main holiday and we'll be travelling from Scotland so I guess most places will be a journey! I am thinking Wales or Cornwall could be nice.
I know, a big list of requests but hopefully someone has been somewhere lovely and could give us a recommendation.
Thanks in advance

I'm not a fan of that type of site but the Haven site in Tenby ticks all those boxes, it's a bit of a walk to the beach through the dunes but well worth it.
Trevornick at Holywell Bay near Newquay in Cornwall fits the bill perfectly except the pool is outdoors. Its in walking distance of a fabulous beach, has a shop, club house with a kids club in the day and at night, play area and other activities to keep the kids amused. We also thought it was well kept, its a very long drive but if you are prepared to drive then its worth a look.

Campers do it in the mud!
Hubby says we can't camp as much this yr mmm we'll see!!
camped in 2009= 27nights
Booked for 2010 = 30 nights.
Thanks for suggestions so far! I had looked at Trevornick (went there years ago before we had kids) and it seems to have been developed really nicely
I'll have to pop all of these into my list so I can find them again.

I agree, but it's amazing how long you can make one drink last!!!!
You are able to use facilities on all the 4 sites the company own, by either catching their yellow bus (which also takes you to the beach), or on your own steam. Each park is slightly different and has its own differences. ie one has a golf course, another a bowling alley etc..But all have a club, indoor and outdoor swimming pool.
Wherever you go - enjoy it!
