We're looking for a site that is within walking distance of the Aysgarth Falls, however the only site coming up is the Caravan Club site.

I would book on here, as we are Caravan Club members, however there is no play area for the kids.

Could anyone recommend another site, thats suitable for kids and dogs?

Thanks

Sam

How far is "walking distance"? I've got a few that are 4-6 miles awa plus one or two that are 2-3 miles away. I've no idea whether they are any good. I just used the faciliity on this site to locate campsites within a few miles of a specified location. Do you know how to do that?

I've tried to use the search facility, but it only came up with one site, that has lodges.

Not sure if i'm not using it correctly?

Thanks

There aren't many, from what I can see. And, as you observe, not all of them are for tents and caravans. Roughly how far is "walking distance"?

About 5 miles? We've an 11 year old, so can't be too far for him, although we could drive to a certain point and then walk from there if thats an option?

Thanks

Hi, if your use option 2 from here, Area Radius Search Campsite Search

Then you can pinpoint any location on the map and find all sites within 5, 10, 20 or 30 miles of your location and filter your requirements too, e.g. tent, playground etc.

Cheers  Ratty

Hi, it works fine here and tested on all operating systems

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/calcdist.asp

It may be something on your setup stopping you from seeing the map, can I ask what operating system and browser you are using please?

Cheers  Ratty
